British paratroopers lie dead on the pavement

Two British paratroopers from C Company/2nd Battalion lie dead on the pavement of (modern day no. 63) Utrechtseweg, Arnhem. This photo was taken 2 days after their deaths by a German war photographer who was following Kampfgruppe Moeller (seen in the background further up the road). This battle group, consisting of Stugs and SS troops, was in the process of clearing the remaining British paratroopers who had been attempting to break through German lines to reinforce Frost's 2nd Battalion at Arnhem Bridge.
