1940. Member of the Luchtbeschermingsdienst (LBD) makes Jewish store compliant with black out rules. One of the tasks of the LBD was to enforce compliance with the black out regulations. During the German occupation LBD'ers went out on the streets at night time to make sure citizens complied with the black out rules. Cities and villages had to be completely dark to prevent that they would serve as landmarks for allied aircrafts.
